Delectable Delights at our Gourmet Ski Chalet

We believe delicious food is an essential ingredient of every chalet holiday and to that end we only employ a chef with professional training and experience and, of course, a passion for fine food. As for your gourmet ski holiday, a welcoming glass of bubbly and appetising canapés on your first evening sets the tone for a week of tempting cuisine prepared by our professional chef. Breakfast

Your day starts with a choice of tea or coffee at served to your room with a wake-up call. Amble downstairs to a hearty breakfast in the dining room. Breakfast choices include a hot breakfast such as French bacon, tomatoes and eggs plus cereals, yoghurt, fresh French baguettes, croissants, jams, fruit juice and a selection of tea, coffee and herbal infusions.

Cakes

Nothing whets the appetite quite like a day on the mountain! Reward your daily exertions with a seductively sinful afternoon treat – home made cake plus tea, coffee, and herbal infusions wait for you when you return to the chalet.

Dinner

Before dinner unwind in front of a roaring log fire with aperitifs and canapés. Dinner is a four course delight – starter, main, dessert and cheese platter made with passion and sensitive to the appetite of the hungry skier yet light enough to leave you grinning not groaning. Finish off your meal with fresh coffee and home made petit-fours.

Our menu is varied and, of course, delicious! For full chalet bookings we will liaise with you to design a bespoke menu especially for your group – formal dining, local specialities, family menus or even comfort food in front of the tv, whatever you fancy!

Evening meals are served on six of your seven nights stay. On the Chef’s night off we can reserve a table and take you to a restaurant perhaps to sample the traditional Savoyard dishes of fondue or raclette, or we can arrange for a simple take-away to be delivered to the chalet if you prefer.

Children

Children’s meals are served at 6pm and are home-made with fresh quality ingredients designed to be nutritious plus appealing to the younger palate. For full chalet bookings you may choose to have the children dine with you a bit later, just let us know which you prefer.

Special dietary needs

Menus can be tailored to accommodate special dietary requirements, allergies or cultural requirements, provided that sufficient prior notice is given and subject to locally available supplies.
